The AFE Large Bore-HD 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Exhaust System with Black Tip; Side Exit is designed to replace the restrictive stock exhaust system, improving exhaust flow and enhancing engine performance. It is used primarily to increase power and efficiency in diesel trucks by reducing backpressure while maintaining factory-like fitment.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable 5-inch mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing, this exhaust system features a 6-inch diameter black-coated 304 stainless steel intercooled clamp-on tip that adds distinctive styling. The entire assembly is 100% MIG-welded for structural integrity and finished with a rugged black exhaust tip featuring a logo plate.
Installation. Installation requires some cutting but is generally straightforward, utilizing factory style hangers that align with original mounting points. No additional drilling is necessary for proper fitment.
Application. Designed specifically for 6.6L Duramax Sierra 3500 HD diesel trucks, ensuring direct fitment and compatibility with factory components.
