Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from durable cast aluminum, this oil pan features a wrinkle black powder-coated finish complemented by precision-machined fins. These fins improve heat dissipation, aiding in oil cooling and promoting engine temperature stability.
Installation. Installation requires a minimum 6-inch lift. RTV silicone and all necessary hardware are included for a straightforward installation process.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 2011 through 2016 6.6L Duramax GM diesel trucks, this oil pan replaces the factory unit to reduce residual oil retention caused by the high-mounted drain plug found on stock pans.
