Construction and Appearance. The intake includes a one-piece roto-molded air box made from durable high-density cross-linked polyethylene with a black finish. Inside the air box is a washable and reusable cotton gauze air filter with oiled media, secured by stainless steel worm gear clamps. The design helps reduce heat soak while ensuring proper mass air sensor function.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires only basic hand tools, with no drilling or additional modifications necessary. The intake system is a complete bolt-on replacement for the factory intake tube, air filter, and air box, making the upgrade quick and convenient.
