Construction and Appearance. Crafted using a vacuum infused process with 3K, 2×2 twill carbon fiber cloth, this hood features a marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors for a durable, high-gloss finish. The consistent weave pattern and optimized carbon/resin ratio provide excellent stiffness and strength. The design includes a classic L88 style with an aggressive power bulge and a removable, paintable mesh screen. A heat shield is pre-installed for additional protection.
Installation. Installation requires some minor adjustments for optimal fitment. The hood mounts with OE hardware, which is not included, and does not require drilling. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper alignment and care when handling composite materials.
