Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 3K 2×2 twill carbon fiber using a vacuum infusion process, this hood features a consistent weave and an exceptional carbon to resin ratio for high stiffness and strength. The exterior is finished with a marine-grade gel coat containing UV inhibitors, providing a polished, high-luster gloss appearance. A carbon fiber skeleton bonded to the underside reinforces structural integrity while minimizing weight.
Installation. Installation is designed to use original equipment mounting hardware (not included). Minor adjustments may be necessary to ensure proper fitment. Professional installation is recommended to achieve the best fitment and to prevent damage.
Application. This hood fits 2017 through 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 models, including the 1LE trim, but does not fit LT, RS, or SS variants. For safety and proper operation, hood pins and heat shields are required. Reinstalling gas struts is not advised due to the risk of damage to the composite hood.
