Description
Driveshaft Performance Upgrade. The Driveshaft Center Support Bearing Carrier Upgrade, available with Street/Soft and Track/Hard bushings, provides enhanced drivetrain stability by maintaining precise driveshaft alignment and reducing slop during shifts and throttle application. It is designed to clamp around the existing bearing without requiring driveshaft removal, making it a practical and effective improvement for driveline response.
Construction and Appearance. This upgrade features a two-part carrier assembly constructed with high-durometer bushings offered in street and track variants. These bushings are engineered for durability and stiffness to prevent bearing movement, ensuring secure mounting and longevity under performance conditions.
Installation. Installation requires removal or lowering of exhaust components and heat shields, as well as cutting off the OEM carrier. No drilling is necessary. The new carrier clamps securely around the original bearing after the old rubber support is removed.
Application. This product fits 2015-2023 Mustang EcoBoost and V6 models equipped with automatic transmissions and is designed specifically for this drivetrain setup.
