Construction and Appearance. Made from heavy-duty 16-gauge mild steel, these headers feature mandrel-bent tubes that maintain consistent diameter for optimal exhaust velocity. The finish is a high heat resistant black paint that provides durable protection and a satin appearance. Headers include TIG-welded, machined 3/8” flanges and premium aluminum gaskets to ensure a secure, leak-free fit.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no cutting or welding due to the OE-style 2-1/2” ball-and-socket collector design. These shorty headers bolt directly onto the factory Y-pipe and accommodate all factory emission devices for an easy upgrade.
