By using a combination of DuraGen, Comfort Balance, and StabiliTREAD technologies, General designed a tire that expertly blends all-weather grip, on road comfort and stability, and off-road durability. For an improved driving experience, General uses sound barrier ribs to reduce road noise and tire drone.
Pattern Optimization: The tread on metric sizes is designed for wet and winter traction, while the tread on LT sizes is optimized for extended tread life and stability under load.
StabiliTREAD Technology: To improve tread life, General uses a larger and flatter contact patch on their Grabber HTS Tires.
DuraGen Technology: The tire compound used on General’s Grabber HTS Tire was specifically formulated to be cut and chip resistance while also remaining flexible in cold temperatures.
Comfort Balance Technology: For a more comfortable ride, General uses an absorption layer under the tread to isolate your Jeep from harsh road surfaces.
