DescriptionIf you would like the fierce look of a Rubicon hood for your Sahara or Sport Wrangler JK, or you need to replace a Rubicon hood due to unfortunate damage, the Mopar 10th Anniversary Rubicon Hood with Functional Vents is the only answer. This hood is made with the same materials as OE hoods for a perfect fit and finish. Paintable primer coat applied at the factory reduces finishing time before it is ready to paint and this kit includes the special silencer pad and bezels to complete the look. Best of all this hood is a functioning vent hood. When installed it will allow the engine compartment to exhaust out heat that would normally be trapped and recirculated. With fresh air under the hood, the engine breaths better, lasts longer and puts out more power.
Factory Replacement or Upgrade: Use it on Special Edition Rubicons as a replacement for a damaged hood, or install on a Sport or Sahara Model to create a unique look that stands apart.
Functional Vents: The air louvers allow hot air to escape and cooler air to recirculate in the engine compartment which increases economy and performance.
