DescriptionAfter you upgrade your stock wheels and tires to a larger size, you need a spare tire carrier that can handle that extra weight. The Spare Tire Carrier from MORryde is the perfect addition to the Wrangler JK for larger tires. This unit is designed to work with the MORryde Tailgate Reinforcement (sold separately), but can mount to the factory tailgate as well. The spare tire carrier has multiple positions that will accommodate up to a 40” spare tire. The built-in brake light stalk is adjustable so the third brake light can be easily seen even with a 40” spare. The brake light stalk makes it simple to relocate your original third brake light. Add the MORryde tailgate hinges, and this will make for a sturdy, and rattle free tailgate system. Additional items sold separately. See Our experts Recommend section for more information.
