This Jeep JK tail light conversion kit includes two CNC formed steel cover plates, each with six mounting holes, plus stainless steel fasteners for installation. It is compatible with many off-the-shelf grommet-style 4-inch round tail lights and works with both incandescent and LED setups. For LED applications, resistors are required for proper Jeep JK Can Bus operation, with the Motobilt resistor kit MB5519 sold separately. Built in the USA, this Motobilt tail light conversion kit is ideal for Jeep owners looking for a tougher, more refined rear lighting solution. Please note that drilling and cutting of factory sheet metal are required, the factory tail lights cannot be reinstalled after installation, and the bare metal finish must be painted or powder coated before use. Depending on the round tail light selected, additional reverse lighting may also be needed.
