DescriptionClearance means everything when you go off-roading in your Wrangler JL. The Patriot Series Rear Bumper gives you plenty of clearance along with giving you the armor you need to protect the rear end of your Jeep. With an integrated 2″ tow rated receiver as well as additional recovery points to help you out of a jam this bumper will prove worthy on the trails. Another great thing about this bumper is that your stock factory options on your stock bumper. Comes in your choice of with or without a tire carrier. Because of the extra ground clearance you will gain you will not be able to use the factory spare tire carrier. A aftermarket tire carrier relocation bracket will be required for the non tire carrier version.
Ground Clearance: By raising the bumper up and having high tapered sides you will gain more clearance for better angles so you will not get caught up on an obstacle such as rocks or other things on the trail.
Features: Made from 1/4″ thick plate steel this frame mounted bumper will put no stress on your tailgate. The integrated tow rated receiver is ready for towing with the electronics port provision and this bumper is parking sensor compatible. If you are looking for recovery points you have a good amount with integrated safety chain attachments as well as 1″ thick double welded recovery tabs for d-rings.
Tire Carrier Option: If you choose the tire carrier option you will be getting a frame mounted tire carrier that will not put any extra weight on your tailgate. It is fully adjustable and can carry up to a 40″ tire (38″ if you add the optional basket). This tire carrier is fully compatible with the 3rd brake light and back up camera. A dual stage latching mechanism helps prevent and types of vibrations or wobbling even when you are out on the trails. This latch system also opens the carrier safely without it swinging wildly open.
