If you own a Wrangler JK, then you are familiar with replacing ball joints. Factory ball joints wear out quickly and they cannot hold up to the stress caused by a lift and oversized tires. Rough Country Heavy-Duty Replacement Ball Joints provide a long-lasting and durable solution. By using a metal-on-metal design, Rough Country Heavy-Duty Ball Joints are stronger, more durable, and can withstand off-road abuse.
Installation Note: Metal-on-metal ball joints have a 100 to 500-mile break in period. During that time, steering may feel heavy and be hesitant to return to center. After break-in, the steering will feel tight and smooth.
Complete Kit: Rough Country includes two upper and two lower ball joints in their Heavy-Duty Replacement Ball Joint kit.
Heavy-Duty Construction: These greasable ball joints feature carburized alloy housings, chromoly ball studs, and polyurethane dust boots.
Vehicle Specific Design: Rough Country Heavy-Duty Replacement Ball Joints are compatible with all JK Wranglers. They fit both Dana 30 and Dana 44 front axles, and will not interfere with aftermarket axle shafts.
