Description
The factory Jeep brake lines cannot handle the stress of a lift. However, the Rough Country Front & Rear Brake Line Extension Brackets allow you to run factory brake lines on a lifted JK Wrangler. By lowering the mounting brake line mounting point on the frame, these brackets reduce tension on the brake lines. Because the brake lines stay attached during the bolt-on installation, you will not need to bleed your brakes when using these extensions.
Installation Note: These Brake Line Brackets are for use with 2-4” of Lift
Drop Brackets: To accommodate a lift, these brackets lower the brake line mounting point on the Jeep’s frame. This gives the flexible lines additional slack so they do not bind or break during suspension flex.
Vehicle Specific Design: The Rough Country Front & Rear Brake Line Extension Brackets are engineered to fit all JK Wranglers with 2 to 4 inches of lift. It is compatible with both two and four door models, regardless of trim package or factory options.
Bolt-On Installation: For ease of install, the Rough Country Front & Rear Brake Line Extension Brackets mount to your Jeep without cutting, drilling, or other modification. Unlike extended brake lines, you will not have to bleed your brakes after installing brake line brackets.
