The Rugged Ridge Hitch Receiver with Wiring Harness is an easy addition to your JK Wrangler, for towing small trailers and carrying your accessories like bike racks and baskets. This receiver is designed to fit Jeeps with original factory steel bumpers found on Rubicon models and special edition Jeeps after 2013. The custom design bolts directly to factory mounting points on the rear of the vehicle, very similar design to the OE Receiver Hitch. Durable powder coat design sheds water and provides a long lasting rust free finish. Designed as a one-piece welded assembly for added strength, this hitch receiver was built to match the towing capacity of your Jeep. It has a 3,500-lb tow rating for Four Door Wrangler and 2000- lb tow rating on Two Door Wrangler with a 2″ opening. The included wire harness is made to the original equipment specifications and plugs into the existing wiring harness, keeping you from having to make frustrating and costly modifications to the vehicle’s wiring.
